Stockholm, Sweden — August 24, 2015 — DRKN, a new street fashion brand promoting gaming culture, have entered into a licensing partnership with Obsidian Entertainment, to launch a three print jersey collection inspired by Obsidian’s critically-acclaimed computer game Pillars of Eternity.

The clothing is designed and manufactured by DRKN and will be sold from starting on August 25th.

Fredrik Weisner, CEO and founder of Stockholm based DRKN says: ”Fashion is an intriguing art form enabling people to inspire both themselves and their surroundings. It is also a key tool to spread culture and we can’t see why gaming culture should miss out on such a great opportunity.”

“Pillars of Eternity was the perfect game for our first real collaboration. We wanted to clearly state our inspirations by working with a rich and epic dark world. Being devoted RPG players ourselves we also wanted to pay tribute to kind of where it all started. This collection is a tribute to the power of human imagination.”

“We were also very excited and humbled by Obsidian’s openness in allowing us to interpret and promote their work to make something new in line with our aesthetics. We are very excited by the fact that we are first company to really explore a computer game based world from a street fashion standpoint.”

Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart says: ”At Obsidian, we very much relate with DRKN’s mission to give people something more than just traditional game clothing and merchandise. Their interest in Pillars of Eternity was awesome to see, and we were very curious and supportive to see what they would come up with based on their dark simplistic style. We hope Pillars of Eternity fans enjoy what they have created as much as we do.”
